Description

Fascinating find!  Memorabilia from the collection of Fred Stoll, who was personally known to Elvis, and was at Graceland as a security guard during Elvis' years there.  In a report on Elvis' death, Stoll was described by the L.A. Times as gatekeeper of the mansion for 14 years.

The highlight of this collection is a typewritten and signed letter from Priscilla Presley around the first anniversary of Graceland's opening to the public, addressed to Fred Stoll on Elvis Presley Blvd.  In the letter Priscilla thanks Fred for his work, and there is an added handwritten note below the signature, mentioning Lisa Marie also.  Condition of the letter is pictured and includes a rough edge.

Among the estate goods we also found signed Social Security card(s)/ID belonging to Fred Stoll, so we don't doubt the authenticity of this lot.  One photo and one album in this collection are signed "To Fred" as well (scroll to see picture).

Additionally, there is a group of Elvis photos, in various conditions.  Some are snapshot style, some deteriorated, interesting group.

Other items include various newspapers, a scrapbook, magazines, 12 record albums, 2 singles.

Collectibles include a 1979 "The King" token coin, a TCB lightning bolt pendant, a Graceland bottle, and "I Like Elvis" button.

The majority of these items were in a large vintage briefcase, which is included also.

See everything at preview on Saturday 4/30, 1:00-5:00 pm.   One-of-a-kind opportunity!
