Description

A varied collection of vintage game pieces and accessories, including:

  • Waddington’s “Lexicon” card game in red faux-leather slipcase, complete with two original rule booklets (“Rules of Lexicon” and “New Games”), cards, and gilt-stamped case. Some wear to case edges, but overall very good for age.

  • Set of vintage dice including:

    • Three large Bakelite dice (approx. 1.25" each) in creamy yellow with black pips, two sizes represented.

    • Two miniature celluloid dice (approx. ⅜"), housed in a cream celluloid dice tube with decorative black dice motif on the base.

  • Redi-Slip playing cards by Brown & Bigelow, with joker illustrations and advertising back for Curtis A. Bush. Includes original slipcase. Cards show only light handling wear.

  • Gold-tone slipcase deck of oversized number/letter cards (likely promotional or educational, c. 1950s).

This lot represents a charming grouping of early-to-mid 20th century parlor gaming accessories, spanning advertising, promotional, and traditional card play.

Condition: Overall very good vintage condition; cards clean with minor handling wear; dice show light age toning; Lexicon case has light edge wear; celluloid tube intact with fine surface age marks.
