Description

Early 1900s Horse-Drawn Christmas Wagon Pull Toy – Lithographed Horse, Tin Legs, Red Wooden Cart, Tinsel Trim & Original Wrapped Gifts

A charming and hard-to-find early 20th-century horse-drawn Christmas pull toy, featuring a lithographed paper-over-wood horse with articulated tin legs, connected by its original wire harness to a red painted wooden wagon. The wagon is decorated with period tinsel garland and filled with a group of early hand-wrapped Christmas gifts, giving this piece exceptional holiday display appeal.

The lithographed horse retains strong color with age-appropriate surface wear and cracking typical of paper-over-wood toys of this era. The tin legs show expected oxidation but remain firmly attached. The red wooden wagon shows original paint with charming patina. Presents appear to be period wrapped foil and paper boxes, adding authenticity and character.

Measurements: approx. 14–15" long, horse about 6–7" tall.
Condition: Very good for age — expected wear to litho, some oxidation to tin and wire, stable structural condition. Displays beautifully.

A wonderful and seldom-seen early Christmas folk art piece, perfect for antique holiday collectors, toy enthusiasts, and vintage Christmas decorators.
