Description

Antique ARBUCKLES Coffee Wooden Crate Side – “Trade Mark” Eagle Graphic
(Late 1800s – Early 1900s)

This is an original Arbuckles Coffee wooden crate panel featuring the well-known Arbuckles eagle trademark. Arbuckles’ Ariosa coffee was one of the most famous packaged coffees of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, widely sold in general stores nationwide.

Key Features

  • Bold black stenciling:
    “ARBUCKLES – TRADE MARK”

  • Classic Arbuckles Eagle graphic, printed beneath the lettering

  • Solid pine or fir wood plank, original to a shipping crate

  • Period hand-nailing and aged wood grain visible

  • Likely from a large bulk shipping crate used in general stores

  • Excellent display piece for farmhouse, country store, and advertising collections

  • Measures 29" long x 8.25" tall

Arbuckles advertising—especially early crate panels—is highly collectible because of the iconic status of the brand in Old West/general store history.

DATE

🟢 Circa 1880–1910

This type of crate branding was used broadly during Arbuckles’ peak distribution era.

CONDITION

  • Very strong, bold lettering

  • Eagle graphic mostly intact and well-defined

  • Natural aged patina, no over-cleaning

  • Some surface scratches and light wear consistent with 100+ years of age

  • Nail holes along edges from original crate assembly

Overall: Very good antique condition and highly displayable.
