Description

This is a Wonderful Antique Green Siphon Bottle from "Blachar Mineral Water Works, Brooklyn NY, 1900-1920.  The etching on the front of the bottle says:  BLACHAR MINERAL WATER WORKS, BROOKLYN, NY, CONT. 26 OZ. REGISTERED". The etching has some fading but still easily read. The metal neck has identification of the company.  The glass has a lovely shape with paneled sections around the body. The bottle still has the original siphon tube.  I believe the glass is Czech.  Most of these bottles were imported from Czech because of the quality and deep rich color.  I have not tested the bottle for its working condition so it is sold "AS IS".  It is in Wonderful Antique condition.  Considering the rarity, condition and collectiblilty this has a reserve.
